The Sacramento, CA, hardcore metal quartet Will Haven originally formed in the mid-'90s with the trio of vocalist Grady Avenell, guitarist Jeff Irwin, and bassist Mike Martin being the group's mainstays (several drummers have done time with the band -- Wayne Morse, Dave Hulse, and most recently, Mitch Wheeler). A self-titled, seven-track EP followed in 1996, and a year later, the quartet was signed to the Revelation label, resulting in the full-length releases El Diablo (1997), WHVN (1999), and Carpe Diem (2001), as the group has toured with such renowned acts as the Beastie Boys, Deftones, Limp Bizkit, Vision of Disorder, and Soulfly. ~ Greg Prato, Rovi

Since this Bio seems dated to 2001, I thought it might interest some to know that Irwin, Martin and Wheeler also formed a number of side projects in the absence of the dearly missed Avenell, including The Abominable Iron Sloth, and Ghostride. All Congrats to Jaworski (formerly of Red Tape Road) for a smooth transition! Keep up the good work gentlemen.........
The Band split after Carpe Diem, but reformed in 2006. Unfortunatly Grady Avenell had to quit the band due to work and family commitments, however he was replaced on vocals by Jeff Jaworski (Who interestingly has an earlier track named after him, Jaworski off the WHVN album). They returned to action and top form with the excellent Heirophant album in 2007.
