This is the song that was played during the Vetnam war movie " PLATOON" with Charlie Sheen.
Platoon... I never knew who did this awe inspiring song. It really does say something... l i k e a revelation has come and you must embrace it.

Samual Barber is one of my favorite composer. His adagio for strings is my favorite classical music and it really tugs the soul. I am old enough to remember the day Barber died. I was working in Kansas City and it came over the radio and I felt so sad. He was always called America's young composer. He really wasn't so young afterall.
