I'm a new soul, I came to this strange world Hoping I could learn a bit 'bout how to give and take But since I came here, felt the joy and the fear Finding myself making every possible mistake

kyliepatrice
This song is so cool... The trumpet in the back, (I think) is so interesting, and her accent totally sets her apart from other singers in this genre, anyway this song is so cool..
she is talking about being anew soul...we have old souls and new ones.... it is our religion and what we make of it.... rather you belive in it or not....its very interesting my bf is teaching me about it all...like for instance a new soul is considered ignorent...not in a bad way..just unknowleged of life...no...the old souls dont know the meaning of life but they understand it alot better then new souls do...and thats just what she is talking about being a new soul and making many mistakes.
Hey Andrea, I recognize not every song is about faith. If a song has a spiritual slant or speaks directly to the gospel; Im going to comment on it for those that might be a little more discerning than you. As for an open mind, Hows that GED workin for ya.
We all make alot of mistakes. The beauty is The Lord covers us if we rely on Him for these things. Angel, You are probably right about her singing to Jehovah/Yahwah since she's Jewish. So was Christ. It is still a song that gives God praise. I love that secular music recognizes the blessings they have been given, weather they thank Our Good Lord directly or not. Thanks for the shout Mauro & Veronica I appreciate the blessings.Rev Rob
No, Rev. Bob, she is not having a dialogue with Christ. She is an Israeli Jew. This may well be a new age Psalm, but it would be with g-d, Aloshem, not Christ.
