He is so amazing. It's kind of sad to see what music has come to these days, with it being mostly about money, shooting, and sex. This is what gave everything its roots. It's nice to get back to the beginning once in a while.

I was serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in South Korea (that's Yiruma's ethnicity) when a member introduced me to his music. It is very inspiring and uplifting. The member even went to one of his concerts and got a signed CD. He'll have lots of songs come out in the future with his growing popularity.

First time I heard Yiruma was at my friends ballet dance recital. It was a beautiful scene of two lovers dancing to Kiss the Rain. After that I was obsessed with Yiruma. He helps spark inspiration for writing.
heard about Yiruma by listening to Beethoven moonlight sonata. A comment was posted about some whiner wishing there was a real life beethoven, another responded there is, his name's Yiruma. - In order to make the most beautiful simple music, you really only need at the most, 2 notes played at the same time. It all about harmony and stretched dissonance.
