This is this best Beatle song I ever heard!
@californiaT R I P P I N I really hope your kidding -_- cause that's bout' the dumbest question I've read
In 1973, Come Together was the subject of a lawsuit brought against Lennon by Big Seven Music Corp. (owned by Morris Levy) who was the publisher of Chuck Berry's You Can't Catch Me. Levy contended that it sounded similar musically to Berry's original and shared some lyrics (Lennon sang Here come ol' flattop, he come groovin' up slowly and Berry's had sung Here come a flattop, he was movin' up with me). Before recording, Lennon and McCartney deliberately slowed the song down and added a h

The picture on this album is really nice, where they in California?? ? ?
I remember when this song was first released all I could think was how unexpected it was to me. So different than anything else I'd ever heard before. Love it.
For the longest time (decades) I thought that was Paul singing along with John. Now I know it's John singing with John. Although it's a great song, that kind of cheapens it for me.
Im probably ignorant to the meaning of this song or may be overanalyzin g but whatevs i like it. :-)

Ok I'm listening to GNRs radio and I've heard Beatles queen twisted sister and nirvana in one hour
This is my favorite Beatles song.
The song's history began when Lennon was inspired by Timothy Leary's campaign for governor of California against Ronald Reagan, which promptly ended when Leary was sent to prison for possession of marijuana.<5 > It has been speculated that each verse refers cryptically to one of the Beatles. It has also been suggested that the song has only a single pariah-like protagonist and Lennon was painting another sardonic self-portrai t . < 6 >
No it talks about all the singers
v the song talks about Paul McCartney
I don't understand the lyrical meaning to it.

We were all high in those times of war,still haunts me.....
Yes they were very high when they wrote it!!! But if you think about it it makes sence! Just read the lyrics carefully!!!
They were so high when they wrote this oh my god
Thank you beetles for informing me that the feet are below the knees, they are obvious experts in human anatomy
1+1+1=3 !?! Brilliant. See, Mr. Henderson, the Beatles are why I'm so good at math, not your teaching.
