And while we do have in-office concerts, employee-led yoga sessions, and an admirable snack collection, we don’t believe in keeping people in the office at all times. Music at Pandora

Music is the soul of our company, and we have many opportunities for our employees to connect with the artists or songs they love. Whether it’s catching an onsite performance or playing instruments with coworkers, we encourage everyone at Pandora to discover what moves them.

Whiteboard Sessions

We gather at the “Whiteboard” in our office to host intimate, stripped-down performances from artists across all styles of music and comedy. Past sets include performances by Miguel, Mat Kearny, Ian Karmel, and Shiny Toy Guns. Watch all of our Whiteboard Sessions.

Onsite Jams

Our Backstage performance space isn’t just for musicians like Ben Folds Five. The stage has a full suite of instruments available to employees for mid-day jam sessions.

Pandora Concerts

Beyond the office, we are uniting bands, brands, and fans through music discovery. Cross-department collaboration is key to bring these events to life for our artist and listener communities. Our shows include Pandora Discovery Den at SXSW, Pandora Presents, and many more custom shows.

Building Our Communities

We foster diversity by embedding diversity values across the company. In addition to celebrating our differences, we currently have three Communities at Pandora: Pandora Women, Pandora PRIDE, and Pandora Mixtape. These groups strive to provide additional support, visibility, and empowerment to our female employees, LGBTQ employees, and employees of color.

Engaging Locally

The solution to changing the “pipeline” is to invest in the pipeline. This is why we embed ourselves in the local community and engage with partners such as Little Kids Rock, NYC Ladders for Leaders, and The Ally Coalition.

Giving Back

Pandora’s Giving Back program serves two important purposes. First, it partners with organizations that foster music education and enrichment in our communities. Second, it allows our employees to support and volunteer for causes about which they are passionate. We offer many opportunities for our employees to flex their philanthropic muscles and support the neighborhoods in which we work-check out just a few of them below!

Volunteer Time Off

We believe our employees can make a lasting impact on our communities through their volunteer efforts. As a Pandora employee, each year you receive 40 hours of paid volunteer time off to support causes you are passionate about or to participate in Pandora’s organized volunteer events. Just last year, our employees donated over 4500 volunteer hours nationwide- we taught kids how to play instruments, assisted the homeless and families in need, brought the power of music and friendship to the elderly, and supported many more rewarding causes!

Music Education

Our Giving Back program aims to unleash the infinite power of music by supporting organizations that bring music education and enrichment to our communities. Partnering with Little Kids Rock allows us to do just that! Through this partnership, we train teachers and equip them with resources and instruments to help kids find their inner rock stars: performing, improvising, and composing music they love.

Music Enrichment

We’ve seen firsthand the healing power of music, which is why we strive to support organizations that bring music to the vulnerable populations in our communities. Whether it’s playing favorite childhood tunes to the elderly or bringing music to children in their hospital beds, we believe that music helps us connect to our communities, to each other, and to the populations that need our time and attention the most.
