We lost one of the greatest folk singers of all times when John Denver died! What memories I have with his music traveling around the world in the Marines! Oohrah!

John Denver, what a great songwriter, Take Me Home, County Roads, what a beautiful song. He died too soon. However, we have a great body of songs he wrote and sang his heart through his songs. He made the listeners feel calm for awhile.

Bright you know he's dead right? He was piloting a plane he designed, I believe fuel got low and he couldn't reach his own petcock in prototype custom plane! I always wondered who was with him? Or how about his real name, If it's Denver cool!!

Miss him. There are some people that by their mere presence alone have this magical effect on our universe. John Denver is one of these truly wonderful people!

Was at your service in aspen John. I can feel your spirit from the ash of you and your ole guitar you left in the Rockies to push up new pines and glorious mountain flowers

This song reminds me of my dad. He would make up songs to pass the time while we drove through the Virginia mountains to see my grandmother. I miss him and those wonderful songs he sang. The memories make me smile. I love you Dad!

Truly great song. The first time I heard it was in the car and it seemed such a perfect song. When they said John Denver I confused him with Bob Denver and honestly thought that Gilligan had recorded it.

In my collection of about two thousand 45's... this was one of the first ones I ever bought along with I'll Play for You (Seals & Croft)... Sir Duke (Stevie Wonder)... I'm Not Lisa (Jessi Colter)... just to name a few... This was back in the summer of 1975. I bought five but I can't recall the other one. There used to be a record shop called Steve's Southern Music in downtown Orlando, FL. I'd spend hours and hours going through all their 45's and LP's.
