Wow! a best of the Kruger Brothers? Everything they have done is top notch. They are unique Americana, 'Forever and a Day', read 'Between the Notes', and find an 'Appalachian Concerto'.
'Travel the Gravel' 'Behind the Barn' and you may find not only the 'Spirit of the Rockies' but the ghost of 'Remembering Doc Watson'. I'm at 15 degrees North Latitude in Micronesia but I'll go
' UP 18 NORTH' any day. Gracias,Dank e , Merci, et Xie Xie, Dulcie y Kruger Brothers. Joey.

They're growing on me! First saw them at Strawberry Park Festival in CT. They gave wonderful, outstanding performances which demonstrated their love for the music and playing. Their last performance at the Park on the main stage was joined by the infamous world champion fiddler Michael Cleveland. The gig was all improv and unrehearsed (like much bluegrass) but was phenomenal if not 'magical' in performance. So much so that the banjo playing Kruger was even amazed and TOTALLY THRILLED!

Cant say enough about these guys. They've written some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard and their live performances at grey fox have been moments worth remembering. Do yourself a favor and support true art, buy and album or 2 or all.

Nice Doc W tribute

These guys are awesome! Met them at Steve Kaufman's Acoustic Kamp. Had class w/ Uwe, met Jens & Joel - all super nice. The night they were performing, there was a really bad storm & the power went off. They kept right on playing! Great night!

This group is a good as it gets when it comes to originality and musical performance. Yens is probably a level higher than Bela Fleck, if that can be. The problem, however, is that, of late, they have developed a sense of arrogance and are attempting to get videos of their music taken off YouTube. Their publicist blames this on the concert promoters, but I heard differently, and it doesn't make sense for the promoters to want to limit their public exposure.

such beautiful melodic music. I love Allison Brown's music too, so these guys hit the groove for me. I discovered them here on Pandora on my Tony Furtado station.

I love the Kruger Brothers, every year we go see them at the Flagler Museum in West Palm Beach, I am sad because I don't think they are coming to WPB this year, but if you can take the time, go see them in concert is incredible ! Afterwards you can come up to them and talk to them they are so down to earth and funny, you can either buy their CDs at their concerts(bri n g cash) or go to their website and I am sure you can order them.

I had never heard of these guys until it appeared on the Bela Fleck Pandora station. Fabulous.

The Kruger Brothers, like Bela Fleck, not only play a broader genre of music than wonderful Bluegrass, they raise the Bluegrass music they do play to a much higher level. I say this being an avid fan and lover of Bluegrass music.

There is a lot of Kruger Music on Youtube. Just get the free Audacity Program and use it to copy the music files, or get the free VDownloader and copy the Youtube programs directly, using Windowns DVD Maker to create your own DVD. All are very easy to use. Better still, show up at a concert and buy CDs directly from them. All are very good but "The Suite" is a great start.
