My musical tastes range a fairly broad spectrum and also span a good stretch of time going back to music from the 50s to today.
My musical tastes run from various strains of rock that ranges from the Brit rock bands, metal, punk, grunge, southern rock, the cool California sound of groups like the Eagles, America, etc.
Today my musical tastes are centered on the style of music called "Americana" as represented by groups like Uncle Tupelo, The Drive By Truckers, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Buddy and Julie Miller, Justin Townes Earle and of course--his dad--Steve.
I like modern Bluegrass, the Blues, the cuban style of music represented by the music featured in Ry Cooder's production of "The Buena Vista Social Club."
My musical tastes are surely "eclectic" with one thing being very true--I am not a fan of most "mainstream" pop music in any form.
I am glad I finally got to Pandora--these days I listen to music from sources such as AOL Radio's "Americana" channel, Sirius/XM's "Outlaw Country" and I stream the independent radio station, WDVX-FM from Knoxville.
